I don't think that the dermatologist is saying that you definitely have cancer but he is suggesting that you get a second opinion so someone else can check the mole. If this is something that is concerning you then do chat to your GP who can examine it themselves and perhaps organise a second opinion.

It is difficult for anyone on the forum to give an opinion as we are not involved in your care. 

Try not to worry about it too much.
