hi, 

 
a few years back I seen that I have a flat surface mark on my labia minora which I have recently realised is probably a mole. i had it seen by my GP when I first noticed back in 2019 and was told it wasn’t anything. 

i recently got a full body mole check and completely forgot about the mole on my labia minora until I started doing research online. Whenever I search mole on labia minora it comes up with vulva cancer and all different types of vulva cancers like melanoma. 

because of where the mole is placed I sometimes forget I have it but there hasn’t been no change in appearance. I’m very scared and confused because I can’t understand the different type of vulva cancers and worried because I haven’t had my mole checked in a while.

please could you help me.

    Unfortunately no one here can say if this mark you have is anything to worry about or not. It is however reassuring to hear it hasn't changed since you first noticed it and your doctor wasn't concerned when you first showed them.

    If it is continuing to worry you then it is best to arrange an appointment with your GP so they can take another look. If they have any concerns about its appearance they can refer you on.

    For now I don't see any benefit to you finding more out about vulvar cancer the important thing is to get this checked out at if it is bothering you to find out what it might be.
