From what we are aware there doesn't seem to be a shortage of letrazole. However sometimes it can be more difficult for some community pharmacy's to access drugs depending on which supplier they use.
I understand it is not ideal but it is worth asking other local pharmacy's if they have it in stock.
My mother has just run out of letrozole and her normal pharmacy uses the Boots suppler Alliance, and AAH and they cannot get any - have not been able to for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately they did not let anyone know and none of the carers noticed. I have ordered a new prescription only for the letrozole from her Dr. and am taking the day off work tomorrow to try and sourcr some (she has already missed doese and has activer tumour due to not being able to operate). It's also worrying for me as I am on Letrozole too, Any suggestions of where to try?
I'm afraid we don't have any knowledge on which pharmacies will have letrozole in stock. It's really about trying different pharmacies to find out. It might be a good idea to go into small independent chemists to see what their availability is like.
