Raised RBC in urine sample

I had endometrial cancer in 2021, since then all tests bern ok.

I’ve had a water infection and have had to do 2 samples both have come back raised RBC, now they have asked for another one and said if come back the same will refer me to the hospital.. I’m now really worrying as I searched it and lst thing it came up with was bladder or kidney cancer. My last wee sample was clear looking but they picked up raised cells again, I know is impossible for u to diagnose, but should I be worried

    Hi , this is routine if you have three urine infections . It is always worth getting checked out. As ladies get older they are more prone to ironed infections. If you are referred the procedure would be to look into your bladder which although is daunting only takes 2-3 minutes .

    I am sorry to hear about your past treatment for endometrial cancer and can appreciate how these recent findings must be worrying you.

    As you have said no one here can say what the matter is I'm afraid, so sit tight for now. Even if the doctors do refer you to the hospital for further tests and investigations there still could be a number of different things going on and not all will be a cancer. Take each step as it comes for now and try not to let your thoughts run away with you.

    I hope you know more soon and that everything will be okay for you.
