Hi, after some advice please ,its been three weeks since my pelvic ultra sound ,is this the normal waiiting time or can it take longer for results ,if so is that a good sign .
Unfortunately, there is a NHS backlog causing delays in getting scan results, so this is not unusual at the moment. Unfortunately, we cannot tell you exactly how long you will have to wait to get your results as there will be some regional variations in different NHS Trusts.
I don't think anyone can presume that because they haven’t heard anything yet that they don’t have anything to worry about. Everything will hopefully be fine but you need your doctor to confirm this for you.
But, if you don't hear anything by next week, then do ask your GP to enquire, or ring the specialist/consultant secretary.
