Hi
I have a fibroadenoma in my left breast which is described as large and irregular. I am booked in for excision in just over one week. I have been told that the lump fills the lower outer quadrant of my breast, which has made me nervous about how it will look once the fibroadenoma has been taken out. Does anyone know if the tissue will just even itself out, or will it be lopsided?
In the meantime, I've found a further lump on the same breast, which is far smaller but feels like a fibroadenoma too, just behind my areola. I plan to mention this at my pre-op assessment this week to see whether it could be removed too, but wondering whether anyone had any experience of this?
