I had a positive FIT test of 11 in December 2022. The test was ordered by my GP because I had an ongoing change in bowel habit and have a history if IBD. Unfortunately, I am agoraphobic and was discharged from the 2WW pathway twice because the endoscopy department at my local hospital was unable to accommodate my care needs. Both consultants I spoke to suggested it was "probably nothing", when I suggested it might just be a polyp. I took another FIT test last week and the result came back at 10. My GP has marked this as normal. Is this correct? My understanding is that under 10 is negative and 10 and over is positive. I am checking for active IBD but have not received the result yet.
