I had a hospital appointment with gynaecologist and he booked me in for biopsies of my uterus under general anaesthetic, this was 5 weeks ago and I haven't had my appointment through. how long does this usually take?
I presume you are waiting to have a hysteroscopy. You can read more about this on the NHS website here. Unfortunately, we cannot tell you exactly how long you will have to wait for this procedure as there will be some regional variations in different NHS Trusts.
But, if you don't hear anything by next week, then do ask your GP to enquire, or ring the gynaecologist's secretary.
