PICC line failure

First time posting on here. I was due to have a PICC inserted yesterday, however it went into my jugular and I passed out (not common apparently and not a great start) happened twice so it was decided best to leave. Had a headache all night and this morning a tight chest. Due to have chemo this afternoon

    I am sorry to learn that the hospital staff were unable to insert a PICC line for you yesterday.

    I think you are you wondering if the overnight headache and tight chest this morning are related to the attempted PICC insertion. I'm afraid I don't know if these are regular complaints in the circumstances, but if you are feeling no better, do mention it to the staff when you go for your chemo appointment and get their input. 

    I hope they can help and that the headache and tightness go away.
