It must be a worry not having a proper period for a while but there could be several reasons for this. At your age the body is often still regulating itself into a normal pattern but the stopping of periods or irregular periods is often due to the change of hormones, weight loss or excessive exercise, stress or pregnancy.

Do talk to your parent or another trusted adult about this and see what they have to say. If needed an appointment can be arranged with a GP to get you checked out. The doctor may wish to run some blood tests and a possible ultrasound but will explain this to you if necessary.

Try not to worry too much any cancer at your age is extremely rare and there is likely to be another less serious reason for this.
