Hi all, I found a lump about 6 weeks ago quite close to my areola, felt solid but movable. Went to the gp she confirm it . Attended the breast clinic on wed saw the doctor, had a chk with him, confirmed lump said the same as me, went for a mammogram, then ultrasound, they advised in there I would need a biopsy, thought OK will get booked in for that. Nope , they did a ultrasound guided one there and then. ( nobody spoke it that room at all ) Popped a marker, went for another mammogram. At this point I had started yo worry. Went back to the doctor and a senior nurse came aswell. Doctor introduced her as one of there cancer nurses, !!!!!! . Started talking about tumours and different elements of bc . I don't get how they can tell without the biopsy coming back , or am I just being a bit dim ?
