I just wanted to let you know that our nurse team is now out of the office until Tuesday morning but they will reply as soon as they're able to after the bank holiday weekend.
Hopefully the practice nurse will be able to give you some reassurance tomorrow when you go for your appointment.
Hopefully, when you went for your smear yesterday you had a chance to ask your doctor or the nurse about your bleeding. There can be any number of reasons why this may be happening. They are the best people to ask as they can examine the vagina to see if there is anything that might be causing it.
They may suggest further tests if they feel that they need more information such as a colposcopy or an ultrasound.
If you didn't have a chance to ask them when you went for your smear than it is probably a good idea to make an appointment to discuss this with your GP.
