Awaiting results

Hi all my husband has recently had an endoscopy for the 2nd time in 3 months and a colonoscopy it's been 4 weeks with no results of all the biopsies yet. However an appointment has arrived for a thorax ct with contrast for next week will that be to do with the biopsies ? He also has a node on his lung that they are monitoring every 6 months and an enlarged lymph node  and he has lost a load of weight and is anemic. Just wondering if anyone has had anything simular . Tia

    I am sorry to hear your husband hasn't been feeling too good recently and is currently undergoing and awaiting some test results.

    This must be a worrying time for you both and having to wait a while for results is understandably unsettling, however no one here is going to be able to say what the matter is. Whilst other people have gone through similar, their outcomes could be different, so it really is impossible to compare stories.

    There is a possibility that something has shown up on the biopsy and the doctor has now requested a CT with contrast to give them some more information about what may be going on.

    Try and sit tight for now and keep yourselves busy if you can. Hopefully someone will be in touch soon.

    Aww thanks for your reply naomi much appreciated . Just we don't know if it's related to the biopsies or his nodule on his lung which isn't due a ct for 2 more months x
