Hi
I have had ultrasound, mamagram and biopsy which has resulted in diagnosis of stage 1 breast cancer. They are hopeful this can be treated with operation, radiotherapy and hormone tablets.
it's feeding from oestrogen and not the agressive form, which I know is really positive but I am worried that I am having MRI scan and thinking could the diagnosis be worse following this, would they already know if it had spread or was a secondary tumour from biopsy. Is this why the MRI is needed or is it common practice as I'm under 40. I don't want to come to terms with what I have been told to then be shocked and overwhelmed again.
thanj you.
