Lump on my thigh should I worry

I have had a lump in my upper thigh for around 4-5 months and now it comes to a point when ever I touch it I get pins and needles throughout my leg which makes my leg feel achy and numb, the lump itself is hard and cannot be moved but now my leg feels weak, I have booked a doctors appointment for the 26th of this month however I think I am just worried, anyone know what it could be and if anyone has had this before

Just a side note as well to this I seem to have lost my appetite which my wife constantly gets at me for not eating as much on a night time but I always feel full, I use to eat large teas but I can't seem to finish it or don't have the appetite for it it may not even connect to this issue but thought I'd mention it

  • Hello there

I am sorry to hear about this lump you have. Unfortunately there is no one here who will be able to tell you what this or if it is anything to worry about.

Lumps and other symptoms can have many different causes. Not all of these will be anything serious but if they are ongoing or getting worse then they should ideally be checked out to be on the safe side.

It is good to know you have booked an appointment with your doctor as they are in the best position to assess you and arrange more tests if needed to find out more.

Try not to over think things for now but see what the GP says and take it from there.

I hope everything turns out okay but do get back in touch if needed.

    All the best to you

    Naomi
