Hi everyone, this is my first time posting. I have a 7year old boy who developed a growing asymmetrical tonsil. This was removed 15th March and sent to pathology. Surgery was urgent once seen by the consultant. Was advised that results would be 10 days. It has been 5 weeks and no results. I thought this would be a case of no news is good news. However when my boy had a 4week post op appt with the consultant their were several people in the room including a macmillan nurse. Doctor said they expected the results but nothing received as yet. This then got me worried...why would additional ppl be there for a simple follow up. Consultant said he would follow up on results and now we're in limbo and hopefully nothing to worry about.
Hoping no news is good news??
