I am sorry to hear about your symptoms and the worry that this is causing you. It is always a good idea when you have symptoms that are causing you concern to make an appointment with your GP. That is what they are there for. They have guidelines when someone presents with symptoms and they may organise one or two tests to find out the cause.

There are many other conditions that may be the reason for your change in bowel habit that are far less serious than cancer but it is always a good idea to try and rule anything serious out first.
