can anyone help me what is this under my tounge? It started yesterday. I got flu few days ago and my throat was inflamed but now i feel well. But this thing just came yesterday, i hope its not cancer, thanks for your answers:

I just wanted to let you know that our nurses are out of the office over the Easter holidays but they will get back to you as soon as they can when it re-opens on Tuesday 11th April.
We always remove any photos that people send us according to our regulations.
The swelling under your tongue may well be the result of your recent infection particularly as your throat was inflamed. I would keep warm, rest, drink plenty of fluids and take regular paracetamol to help relieve any discomfort. If your symptoms don't seem to be getting any better then make an appointment with your GP.
Try not to think the worst as there are many other reasons that may explain your symptoms and are far more likely than a cancer diagnosis.
