Some people worry about cancer when they have been referred for another x ray but there is often a less serious cause such as an infection or scar tissue. Easier said than done, but try not to worry too much.
If the xray does not give any further information your doctors may recommend you to have a scan which will hopefully give a much clearer picture of what is going on.
