Just found a big lump on my cervix ! I've been having pain and the most horrible sensation there so I plucked up the courage to check and its big I have to book an appointment tomorrow a little worried to say the least
I'm afraid that neither the nurses, nor anyone here on the forum, are going to know what the lump is.
It isn't necessarily anything serious, but it's always best to get checked out by a GP who can assess you and decide if anything needs further investigation.
While you are waiting for your appointment it's probably best to avoid searching the internet as it can cause more anxiety.
The cervix can be a strange creature. I get quite a big lump on mine when I am due my period and it dissapears after, also sometimes how it is positioned can make it feel like a lump when it's not.
You are doing the right thing by getting it checked but try not to worry. Hormones and cycles do all sorts of things to it.
