Hello there

It isn't unusual to experience some pain and discomfort up to a few months after a biopsy and marker insertions for some people but anything ongoing for longer should be checked out.

Occasionally people can have an adverse reaction to the marker so this may need to be looked into or another referral to the breast unit just to make sure nothing untoward is going on.

Speak to your GP as soon as you can.
