  • Hi Shaz,

im not a Dr but I might suggest getting in contact with your GP ASAP - whatever the issue might be it will need to be looked at

  • Hi  AnxiousAsAMouse

im not a big fan of going to the doctors but yeh i was thinking the same but want to make sure it was something worth going to the gp for.

Do you think i should wait to see if there will be any more bloody before calling my gp? or jjst call them anyway?

    thanks

  • Hello and thanks for your post,

I am sorry to hear about the symptoms that you have experienced and hopefully they will have now settled down. We can't diagnose you but you may find it helpful to discuss the different symptoms with your GP. I know that you say you're not a big fan of doctors but do remember that is what they are there for.

There are different reasons why women bleed betweed periods and most of the reasons won't be as the result of something as serious as cancer.

The NHS has produced some causes as to why women bleed before the menopause here

The pain that you experienced may be caused by something you have eaten and hopefully it may just be a one off situation and hopefully it will settle down. You may find it helpful to look at the NHS website called Eatwell which has useful tips on a healthy diet. Have a look here

    I hope this helps.

    All the best,

    Catherine

  • Hi Shaz,

As AnxiousAsAMouse has suggested best to get unusual changes checked out by a GP.

Keep a note of what happens and when and then you can tell the doctor exactly what has been going on.

Take care and hopefully you will get more information soon.

    Sarah.

  • hi sarah ,

yes i will do that, thank you.
