I'm afraid I can't tell you why the nurse didn't want to touch the skin where you had your last lletz treatment.  It may be useful to get in touch with the clinic where you had this done and they can clarify what will happen next.  You may be able to speak to the nurse, who could talk through what happened.

I'm not sure if you have already had the sedation and procedure done, but if you are waiting for the appointment you could also ask for more details when you attend.
