they will make sure you are comfortable tell them it's uncomfortable they will do the best to try and get it right for you if I remember you are wales ? So probably the same hospital I went to x
When you go for your planning appointment do let the team know in the radiotherapy department that you are having trouble lifting your arm above your head.
I am not sure where you are having your radiotherapy but they may consider delaying it until you have more mobility in your arms but of course not being involved in your care it is difficult to comment about your particular situation.
The radiographers are used to positioning patients when their limbs are restricted and have lots of different pads and supports that they can use that help get the body in the best position.

Hi lady penelope, sorry your having trouble raising arm. You also said you've waited 6 mths . I too am waiting 3 mths since lumpectomy only node taken for research. Are you in Scotland if you don't mind answering. I have not had a planning scan yet expect it to be May before seen.I have no mobility issue. Wait due to backlog.very busy.
mine was on left I struggled with the breathing planning was great but when I actually started it o couldn't do the breathing they were amazing and changed the plan so I didn't have to do the breathing that hospital are amazing
