Lymph node biopsy

Hi, my GP referred me for a US scan after finding a lump in my neck that I can't feel.

She did a biopsy as found an abnormal lymph node. The next day I had a CT scan. I have a follow up appt with ENT on the 10th March, by then it will be 3 weeks since the biopsy. Is this normal to wait this long and does this mean its more likely good news? 

Any advice greatly appreciated

    I am sorry to hear you are currently awaiting test results and appreciate what a worrying time this must be for you.

    Unfortunately it can take a few weeks for results to come back and there are some people i'm afraid who are needing to wait longer than usual at the moment.

    No one here can say what is going on in your case or what the biopsy will show so sit tight and try not to over think until you have all the information.
