Worried

I was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago,had chemo,radiotherapy and op.it has come back again in lymph nodes and chest wall.I'm starting chemo again next week but they have told me that I won't be able to have surgery after either.I have TNBC if I don't have surgery how do they keep it at bay

    I am sorry to learn that your cancer has come back and you need to be treated again.

    I am not sure what the doctors have said, but triple negative breast cancer can respond well to chemotherapy, I don't know if radiotherapy will be an option too. I think you will probably need to talk to your hospital team about the possibility of further options over time, treatment tends to be individualised so I am afraid I can't tell you what they plan to do.

    I hope you can easily get in touch with someone who can tell you more, perhaps your breast care nurse would be the easiest to get hold of.
