Hi
My mum is currently having chemo for myeloma. She really misses having yogurt and I just wondered if anyone knows of a safe one she could have as a treat occasionally?
thank you

Hello and thanks for posting,
There is a useful factsheet on diet from the charity Myeloma UK.
www.myeloma.org.uk/.../Myeloma-UK-Diet-and-nutrition-Infosheet.pdf
They suggest that it is better to not have live yoghurts or those that say they contain pre/probiotics.
Your standard common yoghurts such as Ski, or most supermarket own brands would be alright to eat.
Any specific concerns around diet, can usually be answered by the patient's hospital specialist nurse, or team.
I hope this helps,
