Hard lump on bra line

Think put post as reply in error

stabbing pain 2 weeks ago putting on seat belt. It went but day after rib was tender under left breast far side. Found a small hard not moveable lump on rib along bra line. I d used underwired bras

I walk a strong pully dog who often yanks my left arm

GP could not find rib lump but on 23 Feb i go to breast clinic. 
it s less painful atm but lump is there  not same as other side .  Right on bra line  

I ve seen similar posts re this on here but no outcome  so worried sick

    Try not to over think this for now. Whilst I appreciate symptoms can be worrying most are the result of something other than a cancer so don't let your mind run away with itself until you know more.

    It is reassuring you are being seen in the breast unit in a couple of days where they can properly assess you and run some tests if needed.

    Everyone's story is different and it is impossible to compare yours with someone else i'm afraid.

    Keep yourself busy and your mind on other things over the next couple of days and steer clear of google.

    hi! i was wondering how you got on today? i have the exact same thing and GP said she thinks it's a lipoma, but it feels hard and i thought lipomas were soft. she's referred me for an ultrasound so just waiting for the appointment to come through, i'm freaking out!!

    Hello there,

    Try and keep yourself busy and occupied whilst you wait, as this can help. And use the support of friends and family.

    Most lumps turn out to not be anything serious, but it makes sense to get checked out for peace of mind.
