Molly

Hi,  I had my ultra sound on neck where they found two lumps in my lymph glands in the neck, this is due to my Thyroglublin levels being increased first time in 15 years.   The report to my GP said no cause for concern, due to them checking the site where my original cancer was, and gthe change in bloods I wondered if the person interupting the ultra sound is able to say no cause for concern or would this be down to my Head- and -neck Oncologist to decide.  Must admit to feeling quite worried.

  • Hello and thank you for posting,

The person doing the ultrasound will have done the report and maybe even taken pictures whilst doing the scan. It is difficult for me to say whether anyone else reviewed this scan but I think you should discuss it with your GP if you are worried.

Take care and hopefully you will have the answers you need soon.
