my husband had lymphoma last year have u talk with your doctor 

Well my blood was tested for something different, then these abnormalities showed up. However I think it's my lymph nodes that need testing. I haven't talked to my parents about them as I've had so many illnesses and colds I don't want to be a burden on them, that's why I can here! I hope your husbands ok.

I'm sorry that you are having these worries about your health. But it is only a doctor who can assess you and decide if further investigation is needed of these lumps and your blood tests. On this forum the focus is on cancer so that will probably cause more anxiety. 

I know you have said that you don't want to worry your parents but I'm sure they would want to know if you are upset about something. Or, do you have another adult that you trust to talk to or accompany you to the GP? 

Take care and do organise another appointment to chat with the doctor, and hopefully you will know more about what is going on soon.

hey girl, im 18 years old and am currently about to have surgery to remove my lymph nodes due to suspected cancer, defo go to the doctors and get it checked out, its probably all good but better to get it all checked out. it took me 5 months for a urgent referral so keep pushing!

I am a young girl, that just got recently diagnosed with non hodgkin lymphoma, I found a lump in my underarm and they have taken 7 biopsies in total to diagnose me, I am still waiting to hear back from them about the next step. Please go back to your GP and ask to be referred for an ultrasound or biopsy of them. 

Thank you, I will. How large was your lump? I've got 1 on my neck that's bigger than the rest but I don't know the size I'm meant to look out for. 

Mine turned out to be 4cm, i would get it checked regardless  of size as they told me lymph nodes dont swell for no reason, there is usually an underlying reason. Hope you get any help you need.
