It might seem a simple question, but it isn't necessarily a straightforward one to answer because there are many different sorts of cancers which can have differing effects on the body.  Also there are different tests that can be done on a blood sample so it is a bit situation specific, however, I think it could sometimes be possible to have certain types of cancer and have near enough normal blood results.

All test results are interpreted by doctors in context along with the history and clinical picture. So it is reasonable to ask to talk over your recent blood results with your GP and to find out if anything else needs to be done about these swollen lymph nodes. I hope you can get an appointment easily to go through everything.
