Hi,

I went to see my doctor a couple of days ago about a concern I had with a small sized moveable lump below my armpit and to the side of my right breast. Noticed it around 2/3 weeks ago and thought nothing of it. Feels different to my left side. Around 7 days ago I start with a dull ache in the same arm (right side) which hasn't shifted with ibuprofen and still constantly aches.

I left the doctors very disheartened as I was made to feel like a fraud she knew I wasn't impressed and has made a follow up for 2 weeks time 30th Jan. she said she could feel like a grisley type lump, when I mentioned the ache in my arm and how it heightens when I press on this so called lump I found she told me the pain in my arm is absolutely nothing to do with the grisley type lump.  Well I could have walked out there and then but I didn't. I know my body and I know when something doesn't sit right. She never gave me any indication as to what it could be and told me never to compare my right breast to my left breast because they are never the same. She didn't let me explain that what I'd found wasn't there before.......pulling my hair out because nothing has changed, the ache is still present and the lump is still there.

I have a telephone appt with a diff doctor on the 30th and I'm tempted to tell her how I was treated and made to feel.

has anyone else experienced the arm pain and lump and have any advice?
