I'm worried I have thyroid cancer I have a lump in my throat I wheeze when I breath I struggle swallowing and I get pain up to my right ear...and the lump is hot to the touch...I'm not sure what to think of it as I'm getting worried.. doctors appointment is scheduled.

    Its good that you are seeing your doctor, hot sore inflamed lumps tend to be infected rather than cancer. I hope your doctor will be able to advise and treat you. Waiting to see someone is hard as we all have thoughts  that we may have something serious

    I’m sorry you are worried about your recent symptoms and can understand you wanting to find out more.

    I'm afraid we are unable to diagnose or tell anyone if anything is the matter. Symptoms can often have straightforward medical explanations. But only a doctor can make a medical assessment so it's good that you have an appointment coming up with your GP to get checked out. Doctors are trained to assess symptoms and can arrange tests if they feel it’s necessary to try to find out what might be going on.
