Hello and thank you for posting,
I'm sorry you are having a difficult time with your diagnosis, but it is hard for us to give you information about your situation as we aren't part of the hospital team looking after you. I wonder if you have a specialist nurse (CNS) who is part of your hospital team who can go through your diagnosis and any treatment being discussed. This may help you understand what is happening to you better.
Coping with a diagnosis of cancer, and its treatments can be hard, I have posted more information here which may help you.
Take care Carolina and you may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline. If so the number is Freephone 0808 800 4040, 9am till 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Sarah.
