Collagen supplement

Hi ladies 

I have was on tamoxifen for 5 years and 6 months ago was changed to letrazole for another 5 years. Since taking letrazole my hair has become so thin. I can't find enough info out there whether it's safe to take Collagen . Every one I ask don't seem to know. My breast cancer was HR positive so loves estrogen. Is anyone taking or know anything about Collagen supplements when you have had breast cancer ? Xx

    Unfortunately as you say there isn't much information out there about collagen and whether it is safe after breast cancer. You have probably done this already but do ask the breast care nurse, your oncologist or pharmacist to check it is okay for you to take.

    We have a section about hair loss and thinning and cancer drugs here that you may have read already but also has some tips on managing this.
