Hello. I had my op on 28th November and my bruises had all cleared up yesterday I noticed a large bruise on the underside of the breast should I be worried. I am due back on 10th for a scan.
It may be related to your breast healing. Sometimes tiny blood vessels bruise and bleed if you are starting to use your arm more. Do wear a soft but supportive bra.
You could mention it when you attend for your scan. Your hospital breast care nurse may be able to advise you.
If it increases, or becomes more painful, hot or sore, then seek medical advice sooner, as sometimes breast infections can occur.
