Cervical cancer

Hello I'm 30 years old an mum to a 10 year old.
I got diagnosed with CIN3 95% SEVERE when I was 25. And HPV.
So I'm NOW 30- an I went to the clinic a week before Christmas 2022....

I went to the STD clinic and was adamant I had BV.
convinced I had caught something. However after all swab tests it all came back negative not even thrush.

witch got me worried because I have this rotting smell. Having sex bright red fresh blood. Overies frobbing.
Boils all under my jawline by my ears. Discharge.
burning when urinating.

so when I went for the sexual health screen they see something wasn't right with my cervix

Stated I needed to be referred to have my smear

I go to the doctors - nurse appointment, she opened me up an starting to panic with this she has gone ti go grab a duty doctor. Very worried with what they can see is a visible growth I've been reffered to an emergency colopsy clinic.
the doctor even gave me a cuddle as I left the room. I mean the smell is not normal I'm a clean lady. My legs ache but Id put that down to medication.
Im always tired.  can any one relate x

  • Only thing I can relate to was the smell, I remember going to the docs for constipation bloating and pains for couple years and they said probably ibs, then I got this smell and I always felt like needed to wash, and after a wee the loo smelt awful which was embarrassed about especially when at work, and they stil said nothing. Was only after a bleed as I'm in menopause that they put me on the 2 week pathway, and after googling found all my symptoms were on there for cervical cancer, and yes I did end up with a diagnosis, but urs may not, this process moves pretty quickly so I hope they get you seen and sorted fast. Please keep us updated xx good luck to you xx

  • Hello and thank you for your post.

I am sorry to hear about your situation and I can appreciate your worry. However, this still doesn't mean you necessarily have cancer. Allow yourself to have some reassurance that you are going to be seen at the colposcopy clinic and will be told what is the matter.

Your symptoms while I know must be a worry are not necessarily caused by cancer.  But I hope you have some support at this time and that the appointment comes through quickly.

You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline.  The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Take care,

    Caroline
