Awaiting Lymphoma/Leukemia screening and CT scan results

I had my lymphoma and leukemia blood screening a few weeks ago, and had my CT Scan 2-3 weeks ago. I presume by now my results would be ready and would have been looked over, my consultant still won't discuss them with me until my face to face appointment with her on the 24th. Surely that's reassuring and my results mustn't be sinister/urgent? If they had found anything concerning would they have informed me right away?

    I am sorry to hear you have been undergoing some tests, the waiting and not knowing what is going on can be very unsettling but hopefully you will know more soon.

    Unfortunately no one apart from the consultant can tell you more about your situation and I'm afraid you can read too much into the time you have to wait for results.

    Sit tight and as I say hopefully you will have a better understanding about your situation real soon.
