Poor you, definitely speak to your doctor or consultant, there maybe something else to help you with the pain. I had severe mouth ulcers after my breast cancer treatment and I can honestly say that was the worse pain even worse than the surgery. The mouth and throat being so sensitive. I don't know about throat cancer but hoping it will heal and you will be pain free soon.

So sorry you have so much pain. You need to see a doctor maximum for paracetamol is 4 times 2 of 500 mg tabs. You must have a pounding headache if taking 7 times 2 of 500. Very dangerous could damage your liver. Please seek help. Pipestril

I am very sorry to hear about the pain you have after having throat cancer treatment. Please stop taking so much paracetamol, you are exceeding the recommendations for a safe daily dose.  Also they do not seem to be making your throat pain much better.

I see that you have tried a number of different pain relief medications that do not help. So I wonder if you would benefit for a referral to pain control team. The NHS has information about these types of clinics on their website which you can see here   Your GP or cancer team (contact your cancer nurse specialist about this) can do a referral so do ask them about it.   We also have information about the different types of pain medication on our website here 

Try to keep your mouth and throat area most, don't let it get too dry as this can make pain worse.  When you are prescribed pain medication do talk about when it is best to take for example before eating.  

I do hope that you can get good pain relief and that over time the pain lessens and goes.
