  • Hello and thanks for your post,

I am sorry to hear about your situation and the difficult time that you have been having.

If you have not been to your GP then do go and talk through your concerns about your health as that is what they are there for. They will be able to assess your symptoms and perhaps organise some tests which may include some blood tests. There are many different symptoms that patients can experience but it does not always mean a cancer diagnosis so try not to think the worst.

The Patients Association have written information about getting the most out of your appointment which you can see here.

I do hope that you know more about your situation soon.

If you feel like you would like to chat this through with one of the nurses on the helpline then do give us a ring. Our number is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and we are here Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

    You take Care,

    Catherine
