  • Hi Chezzabella and thanks for posting.

It sounds like a very worrying time for you.

You said that this has been going on since 2018, and your doctor has not given you any results. I'm not sure if you meant your GP or an ENT specialist, but it would be useful to get an appointment with your own GP, or your specialist doctor and perhaps ask someone you trust to be present with you.

This may be a telephone or face to face appointment.

Your GP will have access to your results and any letters written by doctors at the hospital so they can go through any results with you.

It may be useful to write down questions that you want the answers to, so you can ask questions about results and what is happening.  There is information about this here.

You can also ask the doctor if they can help with all these symptoms you are having.

I hope this is helpful and you are able to get some answers soon.

Please get back to us if you need any more information or support.  You can can also talk to one of the nurses on our helpline.  The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Best wishes
