Hello and thank you for your post.
Unfortunately, we can't diagnose you or tell you what is causing your breast sensation.
Breast cancer would be very unlikely. You might have breast pain/soreness/sensation related to your menstrual cycle, as hormone levels go up and down.
More information here,
breastcancernow.org/.../breast-pain
Other causes can be benign breast cysts or lumps,
breastcancernow.org/.../breast-lumps-benign-not-cancer-breast-conditions
Also it can be due to infection in the skin tissues. You would need to consult with a GP about this who can advise you.
If it gets more painful, or red or sore, then seek medical advice, in case you need antibiotics for it.
I hope that this is useful,
Best wishes,
Vanda
Thank you Vanda
Hi Catherine
I just want to advise you to check your breasts carefully and observe for discharge or any changes. I have recently been diagnosed with a very early BC and one of my very first, but ignored, symptoms was a prickly itchy feeling in my breast. I subsequently had a very small bleed from the breast and it was then that I found a tiny lump similar to an apple seed behind my nipple. I hope that your symptoms are innocent but please keep a close check on yourself and good luck.
