It doesn't sound so mad to me to be worried about every eventuality,  worry isn't really a logical behaviour as most of the time there isn't much we can do about whatever is worrying us, but we worry all the same. And worry often spreads itself around jumping from one thing to another.  

Bear in mind that these sorts of tests are routine to check things out and add to the picture so the doctors can decide if anything is the matter or needs to be done.

Waiting for test results can be an unsettling if not scary time during which it is difficult not to overthink things. Try not to let fear and worry run away with you and keep an open mind.
