Hi   Hollyfish    the nurse specialist at the clinic will be able to help you and advise about the type of bag that you may get.
They are a great source of information about what to expect. 
Also how you need to care for yourself post surgery

I've had a couple of types of urostomy over the past 8 years.  I had a cystectomy 4 months ago.  Not for cancer but a so called benign condition.  I always a wear hernia support pantie girdle specially made for stoma patients. These are available for men too.  I find it more comfortable than a belt.  I was doing lots of high intensity workouts, running and long distance walking until fairly recently with no problems.  You do need to take things easy for a while post op and return to exercise very gradually.  Sending you best wishes.
