It can vary from a week, or up to 3 or 4 weeks, for neutrophil levels to rise back up to the normal range. You might be asked to have another blood test to check, in a week or two. Sometimes, if levels remain low, then medication, (in the form of an injection), can be given to stimulate the bone marrow to produce more neutrophils.
