I'm very worried about my 18month old son he has 3 small lumps on left side of neck and 2 big lumps on right side. Doctors have referred us to get a scan. But my anxiety is going through the roof. He also is always itching his legs. Any advice?
I am very sorry to hear about the worry you have for your baby. I can appreciate this must be a difficult time for you and your family.
However, I am afraid that we cannot tell what is or could be the matter except to say it is not necessarily cancer. In fact, it would be unusual for a child this young to have cancer.
What is reassuring is that he is going to have a scan. This will help find out what, if anything is the matter.
In the meantime try to stop going online to find out what could be the matter. This is because it can’t possibly diagnose your son but may cause you a great deal of worry.
