Hi, I've just had a scan and uterine biopsy today (14/12) as I had a bleed last week after 4 years of no periods. I did recently change the HRT I was on, so really hoping it was just that causing the bleed. I've been told it will be 3 weeks for the biopsy results.  I have been planning for a long time to go to New Zealand for 6 weeks, my partner has a 6 month contract working out there and I've not seen him since September, I really need to get out there and be with him. My flight out is next week (21/12), and I am still going to go (I feel I might have a complete mental breakdown if I don't see him!)

How likely is it my results might come back sooner? As it's now approaching Christmas/NY I am not expecting to hear anything until first week of January.  If needed I will fly home early.  If I need further tests would delaying by a few weeks be a major no-no?
