Biopsies taken

Hi everyone,

at this stage just want to say I have not been diagnosed with anything and hope to remain that way but obvious worried as referred for further testing under the 2WW 

7 weeks ago I had a gastroscopy where the report stated there was a "nodular mucosa" that "appeared" to be benign. 

biopsies were taken from this and I was told today the results are back but are awaiting to be discussed and verified before they can be released to me - is that normal?

    Results are often discussed, and more than one pathologist will often review biopsies/slides. This is to maintain standards and ensure correct diagnoses.

    I appreciate that you are anxious, but try to not read into things too much, at this point.
