Hello there and thanks for posting
When a breast biopsy is taken sometimes they insert tiny metal markers or clips to show where the tissue was removed to help the surgeons find the location in the breast if surgery is required.
I hope that helps
Best wishes
Naomi
I think these were put in during surgery or do you think they were my markers ? Seemed like a clump of them all together
Hello and thanks for your post,
As Nurse Naomi has said they may have put the clips in when you had the biopsy which will be able to let the surgeon know where the cancer was.
You may find it more helpful to chat this through with your breast care nurse as everyone's situation is different and they will be able to tell you what has happened in your situation.
I hope this helps.
