Meeting with Urology Consultant.

The consultant has called me in four days early for a consultation with reference to the outcome of the combined meeting with medical doctors, i.e. Urology, Pathology, Radiology, Oncology.

I am quite worried because I have an appointment on Wednesday to check kidney function and he has sent for me on Monday!

The meeting was originally planned for Thursday 17:00.

Hello Hollyfish, and thank you for updating us.
I'm afraid I do not know why your appointment has changed. This could be for many different reasons from filling cancelled spots to a change in doctors availability. But either way it will be good for you to hear the outcome from the MDT (Multi Disciplinary Team) so things can move forward.
Take care and if you can try and keep distracted until Monday, that may help time pass more easily.

Hi Sarah, hope all is well.
I had my meeting with the Urology Consultant today with reference to receiving a second dose of radiotherapy.
Because of the loction of the Prostate Cancer treatment area, much too close to have radiotherapy applied to the bladder, I will have the operation and hopefully get rid of the cancer in the pelvic area.
